Exultation

This week is the Stearman Fly-In here in G'burg, Illinois. For those of you not "in the know," that means a week filled with displays carried out by highly-skilled pilots in brightly-colored biplanes and assorted small WWII-era aircraft. They fly all over the city, so you don't have to be at the old airfield to watch - which is a HUGE blessing for folks like me.

And Holy WOW, was I surprised to get this photo - I was at a very bad vantage point, shooting under less than optimal conditions. But when I saw this guy doing his maneuvers in front of the sunset, I HAD to start clicking away because I HAD to at least try to get a good photo or two. And I did
